Two-drawer Work Table
In 1839, as many as a dozen cabinetmakers were at work completing the interior of the Great Stone Dwelling at the Enfield, New Hampshire Shaker community. This distinctive work table could have been made by one of them. The nicely proportioned legs, carefully fitted drawers, and generous top are all typical of Enfield Shaker Brothers' craftsmanship. It will serve as a writing table or sofa table, for gloves in the front entry, or even as a small buffet in the dining room.
Made from clear maple, with drawer interior of pine.Shown in Medium Stain with Lacquer Finish.
Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
