Chimney Cupboard

Tall cupboards with two doors have traditionally been called "chimney cupboards" for obvious reasons!. The raised panels in the doors indicate that this cupboard may be a very early example of Shaker craftsmanship, perhaps dating to the 1790's. A fixed shelf divides the interior roughly in half, and we have added three adjustable shelves. Perfect for storing folded towels and sheets.

The Chimney Cupboard is made from clear Eastern white pine. Shown painted New England Red

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
