Counter Stool
The Shakers continued to produce their popular chairs at their Mt. Lebanon, New York chair factory well into the 20th century. They expanded their line beyond the rockers and dining chairs for which they were initially famous. In fact, a photograph taken of their showroom in 1929 shows stools just like this one. Intended to be pushed under the counter when not in use. We make this Counter Stool with a clear hard maple frame.
Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
