Second Family Candle Stand
The Shaker Millennial Laws (1845) directed that "one or two stands" should be provided for the occupants of every bedroom. This delicate example, with its slender tapered shaft and crescent shaped feet was made in the Second Family at the New Lebanon, New York Shaker village.
We make this from solid cherry, like the original.
Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
