Four-poster Bed
The most valuable pieces of furniture in an inventory of the Colonial period were always the beds. Our bed is the noblest of them all. Beautiful for its stark simplicity, it has superbly proportioned hard maple posts and a double arched headboard gracefully executed in Eastern white pine. The original was found in the Yankee Pedlar Inn in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Complete with straight canopy frame, as shown. Posts are 77" high. Head posts are 33" high. Foot posts are 24 1/2" high.
Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
