Oval Top Tea Table

Tables with straight tapered legs and "padded" feet were made throughout New England during the years 1720-1790. They were usually painted, often in a brownish red called "Spanish brown", sometimes in black, and occasionally in more exuberant colours such as Prussian blue and Windsor green. Like cabinetmakers of the period, we offer our Tea Table with an oval top. Mortise-and-tenon joinery. Hard maple throughout. Shown with base painted black and top in Medium Stain. Height is 25 1/2". Top measures 34" x 24".

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
