Sideboard

While this table bears all the characteristics of a fine Enfield, New Hampshire Shaker piece, with crisply turned legs and a generous top, the wonderfully deep drawer sets it apart. The "thumbnail" molding around the edge of the drawer and the use of two knobs, rather than one, suggests that it was made as early as 1830.

Today, it is well suited for use as a hall table and as a sideboard in the kitchen or dining room. Mortise-and-tenon joinery, with a dovetailed drawer. We make the Shaker Sideboard in solid clear Pennsylvania cherry, with drawer interior of pine. Drawer interior is 31" wide x 16 3/8" long x 8" deep.

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece in sizes from 4-6'.

  • Height of top is 31".

  • Top measures 50" x 23".
