Tape Back Rocking Chair
This faithful reproduction of the No. 7 rocking chair manufactured by the Mt. Lebanon Shakers for sale to the "World's people" reflects the finest aspects of Shaker design and craftsmanship. The Mt. Lebanon Shakers were the first to design a line of chairs sized appropriately for those who were to use them. The No. 7 size is for large adults. Its generous size, comfortable cushioned back, and carefully designed arms, are the reasons why many mothers have found this version to be an ideal nursing rocker.
We make the No. 7 Tape Back Rocker in clear hard maple. Shown in Ebony Stain with Lacquer Finish; woven in 5/8" Maroon chair tape in a herringbone pattern.
