Kentucky Shaker Wall Cupboard
he Shakers at the Pleasant Hill, Kentucky community developed a distinctive style of furnituremaking illustrated by the decorative molding at the top edge of this otherwise very simple cupboard. The use of adjustable hangers at the back was one of their innovations. This ovesized cupboard will be particularly useful in the kitchen or bath. Includes one shelf adjustable in 1" increments. The original is in the collection of Shakertown in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky. Made from clear cherry throughout.
